http://www.medicinenet.com/frozen_shoulder/article.htm
Ah, tis true.  Physical therapy owns me right now.  My Best friend really wanted me to come and visit, I had to beg off due to this condition as I’m worthless right now with it *shrugs* She answers this rejection by sending me a shirt saying that I’m owned by Physical Therapy now….
It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged online on a personal blog; I have a few that date back several years.  Sometimes I love to write about crime law and current affairs but it’s nice to have a blog just to write about every day life & the good bad and the ugly.
I see this as a diary of sorts, only a test for creative writing and as an outlet.  Its easier to type than wield my poison pen.    It’s been really difficult to keep an online ID, it seems that there are a lot of freaks in the world that cant stand to read what some individuals write.  Like Madalyn and her atheist views, she was silenced.  I find it funny that sometimes ppl get so riled up on Ttv message boards that they actually all band together to get a person shut down; they like to band together to lock down actual threads in message boards forums.  To shut writers up.   What’s wrong with ppl anyway?  Are they really that bored, is their life really that dead and lonely that this is all they can come up with?  I’ve got 2 thousand photos and negatives to go thru, new music to learn, 4 thousand albums to get on CD, knitting, and now add Physical Therapy and add drop dead gorgeous owners to the mix and YIKES, I’m not bored lol.
But, OTOH I am getting really tired out and quite angry at the pain from this frozen shoulder.  I’m playing the Pain Game, I’m exercising, I’m showing up and I’m letting them stretch my arm and I’m doing what I’m suppose to be doing.  Yet the shoulder continues to ache and the bone spur is still in there and I am actually afraid that this wont be the end of this problem, and there will be surgery.  For whatever reason, bad genes bad luck or just plain old life it seems I’ve gone under the knife about 20 times in my short life.  I find that to be absurd and it makes me angry because it’s just not normal.  I’m lucky to still be here, for sure but I am REALLY BORED being off my feet so much and not feeling like doing the things I usually do.
So I’m struggling.  I’m struggling still with being diagnosed with RA/OA and losing my career, stepping aside for my health.  It’s a double edge sword, like being inside the PT business is.  There is equipment everywhere.  It calls my name, ex gymnast ex body builder ex personal trainer, Hello Jack LaLanne hows CA by the way?  And Rudy, you sold Holiday but every time I see a Bally ad, I think dude you did the right thing.  I try to stretch and do little tiny exercises that I’ve done all my life.  Being ill; or getting sick is really hard.  It impacts your life in ways you would never think of; from blow drying your hair to losing your grip to waking up crying in the night from pain.  Chronic Pain is very hard to live with.  It is starting to really bother me; it started with RA/OA then a pedestrian hit and run; and now the frozen shoulder as a result of this whole mess.
Well what say you; I grit my teeth and laugh and play this pain game, and think of things I probably should not be thinking about but hey at least I get through the treatment and I get through the day.   Being easy on the eyes really helps.  So for those who are easy on the eyes, thanks.  Hope you like the review.

I’m a Native Californian down to the wire.  Always have been a city girl.  When I moved to the East Coast 15 yrs ago I found the species of birds in this area compelling.  My Significant Other and I became Bird Watchers.  It started with one bird feeder, and just watching the normal habitat of our backyard.  Our Big Back Yard.

We are pretty fortunate I think because we see the following birds on a regular basis: Hummingbirds, Sparrows, House Finches, Goldfinches, Chickadees, Titmouse, Purple House Finches, Bluebirds, Cowbirds, Redwinged Blackbirds, Grackles and my Favorite Nuthatches. We have Mourning Doves and Barn Owls and Mockingbirds too. But I’m not done. We also see Starlings, Common Flickers, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, and Juncos.  Cardinals and Robins and Indigo Blue Buntings. Eastern Towhees.  For the first time this weekend we actually saw a Red Breasted Nuthatch, and then a Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker.

The Sap Sucker I think was one of our best sightings ever.  She didn’t stay too long, just only one day.  So we had to mark her as an accidental sighting in our book.  We have Grey Catbirds and Blue Jays and sometimes a Rose Breasted Grosbeak.  Another favorite rarely seen bird for us.

It’s as simple as hanging out a bird feeder and a few socks of thistle or blocks or bells of suet.  You never know who will show up for dinner!

These are Gerry McCanns own words from his blog online.  There is a part of me that will always take this as a confession.  Strange things happen when inexperienced people put pen to paper.  They leave tracks and marks, even if the pad of paper is online.

“Sometimes people do things for reasons that even they cannot understand,” Mr McCann, a devout Catholic, wrote.

“An act of madness, an accident or sudden impulse can lead to consequences that people may never have imagined or intended.

“Faced with such a situation we believe any human soul will ultimately suffer torment and feelings of guilt and fear.”

OJ Part II

November 9, 2007

After a long wait some of us were able to actually watch OJ Simpson sit in a courtroom and squirm today.  He is facing 12 counts of various felony and misdemeanor charges.  The first two witnesses in the pre trial hearing where shady at best.  It took me all day to get on board.  All I had to do was hear the tape again, the violence in his voice and in the others.  Will Nevada Do what California failed to do and bring this killer to justice on a silver platter?  It is very possible that yes they will.  He could be facing life in prison.

To watch OJ’s body language today was so telling.  He could not stand it, he is totally in a situation where he cannot Control anyone or anything.  And mark my words for OJ this means trouble.  He is still an angry man.  He still flexes his jaw muscle and taunts the cameras when he knows he is being filmed.  He is all questions with the attorneys when the tape is played.  And he cannot stand it.  I find myself revelling in this.  I feel ashamed and blog about it with others on the CTV message board forum.  And then, I don’t feel so badly.  All I can do is think about Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.  All I can see is OJ sitting in a cell.  And all I can do is smile.  I can’t apologize for that.  I see a very sick man, one that should be watched very carefully.  This just may drive him into another “moment” or a Bronco II as I call it.

The judge, Judge Joseph Bonaventure seems like an honest good man.  He is very attentive. He is also easy on the eyes.  I am sure he will do the right thing.  He let the tape into evidence and the defense team had their head in their hands and were rubbing their temples.  They are screwed; and they know it.  So do I.

Help Find Little Baby Grace

November 8, 2007

http://www.baby-grace.org/node/2

If you have any information or happen to notice a child who has not been to daycare suddenly or a neighbor perhaps whose child seems to be absent suddenly, please think of Baby Grace.  This child was loved, at one time.  Then violently bludgeoned and stuffed into a bin.  She was found on a deserted part of Galveston Bay in Texas.  Please think about who you know.  Are all the children you know accounted for?  Has anyone sent a child away recently that resembles this little girl?  Law Enforcement needs your help.  Please help identify this child, age 2 to 3 years, blond hair down to her back, last seen in a pink/red broom skirt matching pink/red small halter with white tee shirt.  Velcro blink shoes.  The little tennis shoes that light up.

No matter what state you live in, please think about it.  Is everyone you know accounted for?  Someone knows this child.  She was stuffed into a bin after she was killed.  A blue sterilight container bin.  Please do you know anyone who might fit this description?

The Morals Police In Iran

October 22, 2007

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=071021141644.chgvhggx&show_article=1

Just who are these people in Iran who are targeting every day people for how they act in public?  This isn’t the type of state that the Iranian President said existed and he was quick to stress how much he loved “women”.  I don’t think this is true at all.  I don’t quite believe that he is insane not in the least; but I do believe that the real state of Iran and Women and public hangings and stoning of women happens far more often than anyone in the States realizes.  It is a very sad state indeed, a state that equates women to dogs.  A woman’s worth in Iran is that exactly half of a mans.  Iran is so worried about how their people are dressed and who is touching whom in public. How about being a little more worried about what goes on behind closed doors, the incest rape and stoning of women. Then maybe we will take your country seriously.

Kissing and hand holding in public is not acceptable yet hanging women in plazas by a crane or stoning them to death for adultery is acceptable behavior.  And Iran’s double standard? A man is given 100 lashes if he commits adultery.  No thanks President, I don’t think I will take you up on your offer to visit your country any time real soon.  I like to kiss hug and hold hands in public. I wouldn’t be able to refrain from doing so; nor would I wear a scarf or cover my head.

Just a reminder women, get your Wine and Blankets ready!  Remember the showers are better later in the evening but sometimes the days can be off so you could see some falling starts tonight; or even Sunday. The peak is supposed to be Saturday towards early hours 2 or 3 am. I may be up that late so I will be checking but it’s always a nice thing if you have great weather and love to watch for those stars. Here is a star chart if you don’t know what Orion Looks like. And that is ok! I know not everyone is into our night skies. But it is free and something that people forget to do, look up.

Orions BELT

And for those of you who don’t’ even know how to look for Orion’s BELT here is what you look for:

http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/…011176587oesNOu

Always look for his belt and go from there to find the rest of the constellation. This shower will seem to emanate out of this constellation. Find Orion’s Belt and you will know right where to watch for the comets and their tails and falling stars!
Good Luck Let me Know what you all see!!!
 What else can you see?

 http://www.skyandtelescope.com/

How could I forget! If you happen to be up an hour before sunrise this weekend you can see LEO; my constellation and the Planet Venus and Saturn along with Regulus in the night sky!! If I can finally see Saturn over the orchard and the orchard doesn’t get in my way you will hear me yelp from many states away.!   I’ve seen Venus and right now it happens to be in a crescent phase. It was really shocking to see through a telescope in the shape of our Moon. I wasn’t expecting it and it was beautiful and so very bright. If you have kids who are interested in the night sky or if you are, you can get a really good scope for under $400 to view planets with. They can be bulky but are light, hard to use at first but so very rewarding.

Go Indians!

October 19, 2007

As storms rip through the east coast I wonder will they be gone in time for Tomorrows Playoff in Boston Red Sox vs Clevland Indians? I sure hope so, there is nothing like the smell of October in the air and a good bag of peanuts and the Playoffs for the World Series!  So as the rain and wind whip around this evening I say “Hurry Up, Please! Get it over with now!!”

And lets have clear skies for this weekends playoff and massacre by the Indians. Sorry Red Sox Fans, this year my heart lies with the Indians!

It’s really quite difficult to continue to listen to this “mother” make her wild claims and statements to the media. IF her photo ops were not enough; her self absorbed nature is. What baffles me about this case is that these two parents have not been brought in on charges of extortion, child endangerment child neglect and abuse. Why wait? Why let them leave the tiny village of PDL in the first place?

This case isn’t about Kate or Gerry McCann it is about little Madeleine McCann and what her parents did to her. Last night the UK media aired an episode devoted solely to this case. Five experts have donated their time and expertise. And where does the trail lead? Right back to the parents as it always does time and again.

Please see my blog below dedicated to little Madeleine McCann.  She is not all that I write about but as of late her case haunts me just as much as what her parents did to her.  That I can attest to. The below site is photo and video intesne and It is easier to just keep it seperate as it is my tribute to the case; and to madeleine. It is a collection of photo ops the McCanns agreed to interviews and you tube videos of the investigation. It is not tabloid heavy as are some sites. What is tabloid to one is news to another but for me sky news bbc and fox are about all we have. Are they tabloid now as well? You decide; I already have!!
